It's been nearly a year since you've been gone we're so dearly missing you
We can't get over the pain and hurt from this tragedy we have all been through
So many events have taken place since you have been taken from us
Then they stopped looking for you but not in vain as painfully they tried
Another sad day in our lives had come and all we could do was cry
Months passed on and we got a call that they have recovered you
So carefully we took you home and there was nothing we could do
We laid you to rest in a special place that you would really love
I go there daily to see you and talk to you from up above
I watched your son get Blessed by God and he has Angels with him now
They told us he had two Angels with him and we all wondered how?
Everyone is born with an Angel and Nicolas has two
He is a very special boy because he also now has YOU
I believe in all the signs I see and I feel you are around me
You must know how much we love and miss you dearly
The butterflies that keeps emerging are those butterflies you?
For it follows me wherever I go and I believe its true
You are guiding us and helping us get through the painful part
Tommy you will never ever leave from anyone's heart
Not a day goes by that you are not mentioned through friends, Mom or Dad
We are all in denial that you have been taken and it is all so very sad
I long to see your smiling face and talk to you once more
God tells Us we can't do that until He opens the door
I hope you are there to greet me and hold my hand to guide me through
For my brother I have this ache in my heart for I am missing YOU
Please keep on watching down upon us and guide us in every way
When we walk into the path of evil guide US as we know you are at bay
We honor you for you are our hero in so many ways it true
Tommy I can't tell you how much WE ALL LOVE YOU
May God keep you cradled in HIS arms and show you serenity
For someday we will all meet you there for life's eternity
